ENVIRONMENTAL EMERGENCY

Notify the Management Office immediately of any chemical spill inside a tenant's space.  Quickly evacuate the area affected.  If the odor is overwhelming and threatens to spread beyond the space where the spill occurred, (pull the fire alarm) and immediately notify Management at 1-844-DUKE-FIX.  Evacuate the building and move as far away as possible.

Those persons with knowledge of the incident need to be available to Building Management staff and/or emergency response personnel outside the building.  A description of what happened, where, when, and the type of product(s) spilled will be extremely valuable.

Only when the environmental hazard is removed will the building be re-occupied.

HOSTAGE SITUATION

Report any situation involving hostages to:

Police:                911

Management Office: 1-844-DUKE-FIX  (1-844-385-3349)

Make note of any distinguishing characteristics of the persons involved and report this to the Police or Building Management.

NATURAL GAS EMERGENCIES

Please adhere to the following if a natural gas odor is present in the building.

1. Leave the area and notify the Management Office/Security of the location of the smell of gas to have it investigated.

2. If necessary, we will activate the Fire Alarm and evacuate the building.

3. Do not stop to turn off anything, do not close or open anything, move as far away from the building as possible.

4. The individual who discovered the gas leak should identify themselves to Building Management outside the building, so that in turn they can be debriefed by the authorities.

5. Under no circumstances is anyone to return to the building for any reason until the all clear is given.
